Half Moon Bay

article slidearticle slidearticle slide
Dating back to the 1840s, Half Moon Bay is the oldest community in San Mateo County, with a richly multicultural heritage. It sits at the crossroads of scenic highways 1 and 92, providing direct routes to San Francisco to the North, Silicon Valley to the East, and Santa Cruz to the South – all less than an hour away.

The town is rich in local history, culture, and art. Main Street is a classic and unaffected collection of small stores, boutiques, businesses, galleries, and restaurants. Main Street also hosts the unique and well-attended Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival in mid-October, celebrating its rich agricultural history.

Living in Half Moon Bay means that you can appreciate the beauty of the Coastside by simply stepping outside your door. It is steps, minutes, or a few miles away from beaches on the Pacific Ocean, walking and biking paths along the bluffs, hiking trails through magnificent redwood forests, or a cozy cup of coffee at a neighborhood café.
