Karla spent her formative years in Garden District of New Orleans, an area where architecture, history, culture, and religion converge seamlessly. During her adolescence, her family bought and sold homes in various markets throughout the US. This experience shaped her ability to understand the selection and negotiation process, and to evaluate what’s important to both sides of a transaction to reach a winning outcome.

Today, she blends her life experiences with her real estate expertise to support the needs of buyers and sellers at every stage of life. Whether a first-time homebuyer, growing family in need of more space, or a senior looking to downsize, Karla truly enjoys working with clients to demystify the sales process. She is a sophisticated negotiator and has a keen understanding of the economic dynamics that influence both macro and micro housing markets.

Having been a Girl Scout for much of Karla’s early life, she brings the training gained then to inspire her as a person and an agent now. Simply put, “I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong and responsible for what I say and do and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, to make the world a better place and be a sister to every Girl Scout.”

Karla holds a B.A from University of California, Santa Cruz. She a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and holds National Association of Realtors Green designation.
