Katie Fanning O'Shea

Katie Fanning O'Shea, a Native Californian, grew up in Los Gatos, and has lived in Oakland for the past 38 years. Katie joined Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty in 2008 after 7 years with Prudential California Realty.
Katie has been honored to be among the top 10% of Sotheby's agents who grossed over 8 million in sales in the Bay Area every year from 2013 through to 2023.

Katie graduated from Los Gatos High School, attended Chico State University, and earned her Bachelor of Arts from San Jose State University where she did a semester abroad in Grenoble, France during her junior year.

Katie's background enhances her well-rounded personality and people skills. As a former American Airlines Flight Attendant, Katie has traveled the world as a qualified French Speaker. She is also very familiar with the entire Bay Area, top to bottom, having flown in the KGO 810 Jet copter, reporting traffic for 12 years.

Katie is a proud mom of her two boys, Billy and Tim, a wife of Bill Fanning for over 41 years, a loving daughter and caregiver to her 94-year-old mom until her passing, a devoted sister, a sweet auntie, and a good friend to many, here in the Bay Area and around the world. Katie is an animal lover. She rescued her dogs Mr. Mo Buckets and Mac and she can be seen daily walking Buckets and Mac through her Crocker Highlands neighborhood.

Finally, Katie is in her 23rd year as a realtor, bringing the experience vital in negotiating your perfect deal. Katie has unending energy, enthusiasm, and compassion and ready to serve you with all of your real estate needs!
